Wall Stone
Wall Stone Overview
This wall stone is a beautiful way to enhance any yard of garden. Originally designed for retaining walls, it is also often used for gardens, edging, stairs, ponds, and a whole host of other applications. This rugged and easy to use stone is quarried in the USA.
Flagstone that is used to make a wall is called “cut dry wall” because the stone is cut into strips for easy stacking (the “cut” part), and “dry wall,” because the wall is built dry, meaning no mortar. The strips are 6 inches, 8 inches, or 12 inches wide depending on the height of the wall being constructed. The thickness of the stone usually will vary from 2 inches to 4+ inches.
