Outcropping
Stone
|
Large pieces of limestone or
sandstone imbedded in hillsides or
strategically placed within landscaping
is known as outcropping. Used to give a
rustic and natural look, it mimics the
stone bluffs and escarpments found in
nature. Available in a variety of sizes,
colors, and types of stone it is ideal as
accents in planting beds, natural
retaining walls and even rustic steps or
stairways.
